ASPIRE OMT COVID-19 Precautions and Prevention Policies

  • ASPIRE Attestation of no Covid-19 Symptoms and Agreement to Follow Prevention Protocol:

  • Do you have any symptoms of COVID-19 now or have you had symptoms within the past 24 hours?

                         Yes

                         No

Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Anyone can have mild to severe                 symptoms. Symptoms of COVID-19 infection include:

  • Fever or chills

  • New-onset cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Headache

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Sore or scratchy throat

  • Nasal congestion or runny nose (different from pre-existing allergies)

  • Loss of sense of smell or taste

  • Diarrhea

  • Conjunctivitis (pink eye)

  • Unexplained muscle or body aches

  • Prevention Protocol: We will provide extra masks in the event a participant forgets to bring one. We ask that attendees wear a mask in the classroom setting, wash your hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, clean and disinfect surfaces daily, and monitor your health daily-being alert to symptoms. If a person has symptoms of illness, we expect that they will choose to reschedule the course.  Faculty may opt for a face shield or other face coverings when they are teaching.

  • Food: The food policy will be agreed upon with the course site coordinator prior to the course.  Some sites will require that no food or drinks are allowed in the classroom and an hour lunch break will allow the participants to leave the site and purchase lunch, elsewhere. Other site protocols will mandate all participants will wear masks that may be removed while eating and drinking but should be worn at all other times in indoor public dining areas.

ASPIRE OMT will continue to consider this matter with the utmost seriousness, being aware of the recommended guidelines. Additional protocols will be announced as needed. We prioritize the safety of our learners and will be working to keep everyone as healthy as possible.
