Mary Hughes

Clinical Instructor

Mary Hughes, DPT, CMPT, COMT obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2008. Prior to graduate school, she competed in Division I volleyball at Gonzaga University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Since graduation, she has had the opportunity to practice in multiple states as her husband is an active-duty Army Officer. Mary has been an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) member since graduate school and became an APTA board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2013. In
2018 she obtained her Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) and Certified Orthopedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT). She is temporarily living in Wellington, New Zealand with her husband and two children, Gabriel and Claire. When not practicing in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her family,
exercising, paddle boarding, hiking, oil painting, and reading.
