Tyrees Marcy

Clinical Instructor

Tyrees Marcy, PT, DPT, CSCS, OCS, COMT, FAAOMPT, LJLCP graduated from California State University Sacramento in 1998 with her BSPT. In 2004, she graduated with her post-graduate certificate in manual therapy from Curtin University in Perth Australia and completed her transitional PT Doctorate from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2010. She is currently working on her Ph.D. at the University Concordia Chicago in Health and Human Performance. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, an Orthopedic Certified Specialist, and a Fellowship Graduate of the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). She is a certified Connect Therapy and Thoracic Ring Approach Practitioner. Tyrees is Faculty for the Olympic Sports and Spine Therapy Orthopedic and Sports Residency as well as the Orthopedic Fellowship programs. Tyrees is also an Item Writer for the Specialization Academy of Content Experts and the Maintenance of Specialist Certification. She serves on the Credentialing Services Committee for the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPTRFE). She is Adjunct Faculty at Graceland University. Tyrees currently works at OSS Therapy located in the South Sound of Washington State, with a clinical focus on outpatient orthopedic conditions of the spine and extremities as well as Industrial Rehabilitation with the performance of Functional Capacity Examinations for return-to-work capabilities.
